Despite immense potential, Pakistan continues to stagger into crises. Its people are hard-working and would like to get ahead in life but the system is so oppressive that people’s genuine efforts are frustrated. In addition to corrupt and incompetent secular leaders, religious groups must also be held accountable. They have fanned sectarianism and narrow-minded thinking leading to chaos and bloodshed.
